Norwegian Bank ID General Settings

Norwegian Bank ID (NBID) is an electronic identity service offered and issued by Norwegian banks. Digital Access enables an NBID user to authenticate via NBID through the portal.

To setup this authentication service, several mandatory parameters are necessary including the upload of a specific keystore file (.bid file extension) provided by the Norwegian Bank ID service.

In addition, due to NBID using keys longer than 128-bits it is necessary to install the Java Cryptography Extension (JCE) Unlimited Strength Jurisdiction Policy files. Those files should be installed in the JRE environment of the appliance and can be downloaded from Oracle's website.
