Add Access Rules

Use the Manage Resource Access section to create access rules. The access rules defined are used to protect several resources.

  1. On the main menu, click Manage Resources and then click Access Rules in the left-hand menu.

The Manage Access Rules page is displayed.

  1. Click Add Access Rule.

  2. Enter Display Name.

Example:
Display Name
: Protected with PortWise Password

  1. Click Add Rule.

  2. Select access rule type, and click Next.

For information on all available access rule types, see the Manage Access Rules page.

  1. Specify additional settings for the access rule.

  1. Click Next.

A specification of the new access rule is displayed.

  1. Click Next.

The General Settings page is displayed.

  1. To add additional rules to the new access rule, click Add rule.

The flow returns to step 5.

Or, click Next to complete the access rule.

The Confirmation page is displayed.

  1. Click Finish Wizard.

The access rule is now added.

To add resources protected by this access rule, continue with Add a Web Resource or Add a Tunnel Resource.
