Here, you manage all SAML Federation settings to enable Digital Access to act as Service Provider or Identity Provider.
SAML 2.0 (Security Assertion Markup Language) is an XML standard for using SSO between online business partners, that is, between an identity provider and a service provider.
Before adding new SAML Federations, make sure you have completed the following tasks:
Server Certificates are used when creating signatures, a requirement when acting as an Identity Provider. Server Certificates are added using the Add Server Certificate wizard in the Manage Certificates section
Access Point DNS names are used in SAML Federations, add these DNS names in DNS Name tab, found in Global Resource Settings section.
There are three different licensed features when using SAML "Identity Federation", "Advanced Identity Federation" and "SAML Extension - Identity Provider Discovery".
